It was they who pressurised the London stock market into change in the first place.
So what should the Exchange, which is now reviewing the whole set-up, do about it?
The major problem with Sets as it stands is not enough liquidity, or to put that in layman’s language, not enough people using it. The soft landing outcome still seems the most likely but don’t yet discount the other two less rosy possibilities – recession or runaway boom..
