It started with the third-generation auctions when people realised the amount of funding that would be needed.” He added: “Since then we have seen a climate of spiralling fear.”Indeed, with market sentiment so negative some analysts believe that BT has not received sufficient credit for the long-term impact of its restructuring programme.
